About Balanced Living
Established in 2006 as a holistic solution to stress relief, our mission statement is creating a natural balance.

Living at the pace we do nowadays we put inordinate amounts of stress on our bodies and having been interested in complementary therapies for the last 25 years and more recently the environment, we wanted our business to not only create a balance within our bodies but also in our increasingly fragile eco-system. To that end we take great care in choosing the best quality products that, wherever possible, are either organic or natural.

The ethos of our packaging policy is that we make every effort to reduce environmental impact. We only use raffia to attach gift tags and tie round our range of cream corrugated cardboard giftboxes and if our gift or postal packaging isn't re-usable, recyclable or compostable then in the main we don't use it. Please help us in our mission by re-using or disposing of any packaging responsibly.

We offer natural healing crystals, aromatic soaps, shower gels, shampoos and body lotions that are made with natural ingredients, many with organic essential oils.

Our range of bathroom accessories are natural too from our sun-dried loofahs to our sisal nail brushes and environmentally sustainable sea sponges.

Our heat and cold therapy bags are made from Hemp Muslin (55% Hemp / 45% Organic Cotton) filled with organic wheat and organic French lavender flowers and the wonderfully warm covers are made of Hemp Fleece (55% Hemp / 45% Organic Cotton). Hemp is not organic but has few natural predators and is usually grown pesticide free.
